An Ode to Snow

Oh Snow, I see you there,
On the ground everywhere.
Falling softly from the sky,
you sometimes hit me in the eye.
White and cold, soft and light,
how much can pile up overnight!?
I shovel you off my driveway
I can't get it all, try as I may.
It really is a good workout
for my body round and stout.
Then I sit back and sip my cocoa,
listening to the radio, OH NO!!!!
Not another winter storm warning!!
Can't I relax tomorrow morning?
Oh Snow I see you there,
on the ground everywhere.
It's only December, or so they say.
I think I'll be shoveling 'til May!!!

That's just sweet! We finally got our first real snow. We got one small drop in October but it was melted by noon. I'll take snow over mud, for sure. -M

very fun! way to go! Haven't seen the AZ mud, but it has been raining tonight so maybe it will be there for me when I awake in the morning!
