Just when you thought you could breathe. . . . . .

the pressure is tightened just a little more. Brian came home unexpectedly last night. Someone's ego got in the way and the job payment wasn't deposited to the business. He had told that someone that he was leaving the job site if the money wasn't there. So he did.
Then he sprang another one on me. The owner wants the house done by March. <:-0 Brian wasn't expecting to be done until late summer. He let me know that there was going to be a LOT of overtime for him between now and the end of the project. Ugh. I suppose I should be used to him being gone. We've been doing this for 4 years already. And I can't count the number of trips he's made to Telluride when he was gone for up to 3 weeks. Well I suppose I can because he brought me a heart stone every time he went. :-) But you get the picture. He keeps reassuring me that everything will be fine when this is over. I'm not convinced. As far as I know, there aren't any other projects in the works and if he finishes this one 6 months sooner than expected where does the paycheck come from???? I'm not worried at this point, I'm just wondering what is going to happen. Don't count your chickens and all that I suppose.

I'm sorry about your husband's job challenges, but wanted to comment that it is sooo sweet of him to get you a stone every time he went!

(I'm on LDSMoms)
